My Heart

Wasn't it You I gave my heart to?
I wish You'd remember
Where you sat it down

I was listening to a song today and these lines along with something that happened last night really made me do some thinking. Why do I give people my heart so they can forget where they laid it down. And how can you have someone's heart and then just decide to lay it down and forget where you put it. Sometimes when don't have a choice as to who has our heart and we can't control whether they lay it down and forget about it. I wish that it didn't hurt so much.

I hear you Jenn. I can't count how many times mine has been misplaced. But I'm also learning that it does nobody any good unless you make it free to give away again and again. :) That still doesn't change the fact of how much it hurts. And I'm sorry yours was hurt recently. I love that song, by the way. It makes me cry every time I hear it! I hope you have a beautiful day!

i am so sorry somebody hurt you. you are such a kind person.

your post reminds me of this poem i liked in high school that said

"baby you just sorta
stomped on my aorta"

comic relief.

i am going to pray for you right now!!!!
