His love can be overwhelming

Sometimes God's love can be a little overwhelming to grasp. His love knows no bounds. He doesn't play games with my heart and mind. He loves me for who I am and is there for me no matter what.

Recorded October 6th in Percy Warner Park in the mid-morning (Nashville, TN)

Sometimes I feel like a failure
There I’ve said it out loud
And I’m so afraid that I will never measure up
To what You want for me, but somehow
You keep loving me; You keep loving me

I’ve been sitting on this porch over an hour
Watching my neighbors live their distant lives
And the birds are singing songs that sound familiar
And I want to join them, but I don’t know how
Still You keep loving me; You keep loving me

And I confess sometimes I think I’m better on my own
I can handle this alone
Shows how much I know
And I can’t understand why You still woo my tired heart
Try to fill the vacant parts
Guess that’s part of who You are

'Cause You keep loving me
You keep loving me
You keep loving me
You keep loving me

Sometimes I feel like a failure
There I've said it

Music and Lyrics by Jennifer Somers (BMI) and Tyler Somers (BMI)
Recorded in October and November 2011 at Sputnik Studios (Nashville, TN)

Dawn breaks over Skyline Hill
Beauty and grace, all is still
Canvassing this sight, I'm sure
There are no words for this

Your breath is heavy on my skin
I close my eyes, breathe out and in
Spinning 'round, a steady rhythm
There are no words for this

And I don't know what to say, to properly convey
The lines of this earth, the lines of your face
I am small and unsure, but more and more I learn
There are no words for this

Tears roll gently down my face
I lick my lips for the salty taste
Reveling in deep, deep grace
There are no words for this

And I don't know what to say, to properly convey
The lines of this earth, the lines of your face
I am small and unsure, but more and more I learn
There are no words; there are no words
There are no words for this
