You Are 45% Left Brained, 55% Right Brained |
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports. |

last one? doubt it, sorry
okay so which is right, who knows?
last one of the day
Left Brain 52%
Right Brain 48%
You are more left-brained than right-brained. Your left brain controls the right side of your body. In addition to being known as left-brained, you are also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. You are able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. You usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides you step-by-step in a logical manner to your conclusion. Concise words, numerical and written formulas and technological systems are often forms of expression for you. Some occupations usually held by a left-brained person include a lab scientist, banker, judge, lawyer, mathematician, librarian, and skating judge.

"*DISCLAIMER* I am not a passive aggressive person, and I do not use my blog to drop hints. I’d hate to think I made anyone who knows me personally and who also reads this site feel self-conscious because I am aware of who reads this page and I would never be so underhanded and wussy as to tell the internet instead of you personally. The folks I’m speaking of above are people who don’t read this page, so please don’t think I mean you. You, I like. So don’t worry."
so if you read someones blog and immediately take offense to it does it mean at some point you have committed said act, treated someone wrong, or such, maybe. some of us including myself need to look at why we would immediately assume someone is talking about us in their blog. sometimes people do us their blog to make their feelings about a person or situation known without addressing the person. but does that gives us the right to assume that everyone does that. all i am saying is we, me included, need to stop assuming someone is talking about us. and if we feel that way then maybe we need to stop and take a look at ourselves and see if we have reason to feel offended. sometimes we can feel that way and the person blogging doesn't even realize that what they are blogging about would offend anyone.
next time we think someone is talking about us or we feel offended by someones blog let's stop and reflect on why we feel that way. maybe we need to do a little inside maintenance on ourselves.
and if this offends you then well....

i am sorry if my last blog made some of you upset. it was not pointed to any certain person. i am sorry i didn't explain my reasoning for my pet peeves. i guess i just need to keep my thoughts to myself. sorry that i may have offended someone or making someone feel that i was speaking of them.

air conditioning in january
i can't believe we had to turn on the air in the house this evening. when we got home the house was like 80 degrees. it's january, there is supposed to be snow on the ground and cold. instead the ground is muddy and it is in the 60's. i'd rather have snow in the winter. we only really have a couple of months where it snows off and on, i like it.
oh well it's nice to not have to put a coat on when going outside, oh wait i don't put a coat on anyways. it's nice to not freeze when i go outside with no coat on.

sniff, sniff...
ellie and silas both had their first haircut today. i almost cried, but i refrained. it was very sad though. silas looks very grown up. ellie is just thrilled to have gotten her hair cut like mommy.
not only did ellie and silas get their first haircut but daddy got his first professional haircut. before last night only his dad and I had cut his hair. i like his haircut, he still has some hair left.

we celebrated new years eve with the bosts, the fords, the mckells, john hutton, and kim papscun. this was by far the best new years eve i have ever had. just hanging out with friends, relaxing, playing wii and catching up. it's great to have friends we can relax, be comfortable and celebrate the new year with. our friend kim p. was supposed to fly back to phoenix that evening but her flight got cancelled . so ed went to columbus and picked her up to join the party. it was so good to see her. here are some pics.
